The Merry Wives of Windsor

In this domestic comedy, Sir John Falstaff attempts to seduce two wealthy married women in Windsor to gain access to their money. The women see through his scheme and play a series of humiliating tricks on him. Legend says Queen Elizabeth I requested this play because she wanted to see Falstaff in love.
